I don't know where I want to be, but I would like to be a size 14 or so again. I don't have a timeline either. I'm kind of taking a willy-nilly kind of attitude with this. I am going to stick with the Power 90 routine, but I'm trying not to be too results oriented. I know that there will be some results so I think I'd rather be surprised as we go along.

All through high school, I was pretty active with any sport. I love them all. Then after high school, I was not nearly as active and I started packing on the pounds. When I graduated from high school, I was about 170 lbs, and when I look at pictures from then I think to myself that maybe that was a little too thin.

After I got married, is when I really started gaining weight. Working full-time at a desk job and learning how to cook was not the way to keep the pounds off.
It also didn't help that my knees became sources of worry. A year or two after high school, I dislocated my left knee by shifting my weight onto it. In 2004, I dislocated my right knee, by spinning around to find my glass of milk. I lose my drinks A LOT. Then in 2006 or 2007, I dislocated my left knee again, by trying to be cute and hop onto our bed. It was really cute, not. So now I worry about my knees. I believe that part of their issue is my weight, so hopefully this journey will also help my knees.

My pregnancies have been fabulous diet/weight loss ventures, and I know its not supposed to be that way, but they have been. I lost 17 pounds with Devlin, and then gained it all back and then some. With Harrison, I have luckily been able to keep the weight off, but we're only talking about a pound. I gained 6 pounds with his pregnancy and he was a 7 pound baby. :)

I want to lose weight for me and my family. I want to be able to fit into the clothes I used to be able to, and I'd like to get my Hard Rock shirt back from Jess, which I bought even though it didn't fit. :) I'd like to be able to run and play with my guys without getting winded so easily and worrying about my knee.

So that's my story. I know it's not original and that's ok because sometimes its ok to be a member of  the herd. I'd just like to be a more healthy and toned member. :)
